I did not create this recipe! A good friend of mine did… But I just made it better ;p. LOLZ. It’s actually pretty genius and really good.
As part of my meal prep, I’ve been eating a lot of tuna but that gets real boring real quick. So substitute tuna for tilapia and voila! Super yum, super quick, super good for you.
Here’s whatcha do:
2 tilapia fillets
5 tablespoons sabra classic hummus
2/3 cup chopped red pepper
2 chopped celery stalks
3 green onions
Seasonings: salt. Pepper. Onion powder. Garlic powder. Celery seed (adjust quantities to your liking/add others)
Season tilapia with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Bake the tilapia at 350 for about 15 minutes. Throw all ingredients into a bowl and mix it up!!!
Serves 4. One serving is 2/3 a cup and has 197 calories and 10 g protein. I like to eat it on rice cakes but I’m sure it would be good on a salad too!
