Guilty Pleasure— for sureeeee
One of my best buds from college- yes, I call her Pookie- had this recipe and I fell in love. It’s not HER recipe, but the story behind it is for another time. Regardless, it is seriously the BEST banana bread I’ve ever had. (I already ate half the loaf and it came out of the oven 20 minutes ago… oh geez, I shouldn’t admit that).
Pookie’s banana bread
Cream the butter and sugar. Still beating add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt then add to the wet ingredients still beating. Once encorporated, beat in the mashed bananas. Pour batter in buttered loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees farenheit for about 50 minutes.
